Privacy Policy

Plain English, no legalese where we can avoid it. This page explains what data OrdrHQ collects, why we collect it, and what we never do with it.

Who we are

OrdrHQ ("we", "us") provides QR ordering, billing, and cafe management software to cafes and restaurants in India. Each cafe runs on its own subdomain (for example yourcafe.ordrhq.com) with its data stored separately from every other cafe.

Data we collect from cafe owners

• Account details — cafe name, owner name, email, phone number, and address, collected when you book a demo or sign up.
• Business data you enter — menu items, prices, tables, staff accounts, and settings.
• Billing records generated by your cafe — orders, bills, and payment modes, stored so you can see reports and history.
• Subscription and payment information — handled by Razorpay, our payment partner. We never see or store your card, UPI, or bank credentials.

Data we collect from cafe guests

• When a guest scans a QR code and places an order, we store the order details and, where the cafe has enabled it, the guest's name and phone number so the cafe can manage the order and (optionally) send offers.
• Guest data belongs to the cafe the guest ordered from. We never sell it, share it across cafes, or use it for our own marketing.

How we use data

Only to run the service: processing orders and bills, showing your reports, sending service emails (such as subscription receipts or trial reminders), and providing support. We do not sell data to anyone, ever.

Where data lives and how it's protected

Data is stored in secure PostgreSQL databases with each cafe isolated in its own schema. Access is restricted to authenticated users of that cafe. All traffic is encrypted in transit over HTTPS.

Payments

Subscription payments are processed by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. Card and UPI details go directly to Razorpay and never touch our servers. See Razorpay's privacy policy for how they handle payment data.

Deleting your data

If you cancel your subscription and want your cafe's data removed, email us at support@ordrhq.com and we will delete your cafe's schema and associated records. Guests can ask the cafe they ordered from to remove their details.
